Set up products and Price Lists

Create your catalogue once, then give each product a price per currency in a Price List.

Products describe what you sell. Price Lists say what it costs, in one currency. Keeping them apart means a price can change without losing the prices earlier deals were made at.

Create products

1. Open Products and select New product.
2. Give it a name and, if you use them, a SKU and description.
3. Repeat for each product or service you sell.

Create a Price List

1. Open the Price lists tab and create a new Price List with a name and a currency.
2. Mark it as the default for its currency so new deals in that currency use it.
3. Open the Price List and add each product with its price, how it is priced (each, per hour, per day or fixed fee) and how it is billed.

• Each Price List has one currency, and one list can be the default per currency.
• A product has one current price per Price List. Setting a new price keeps the earlier one in the history.
• Deals keep the price they were made at.
